Consultation and supervision

If you’re looking for a one-off consultation or a longer-term supervisory relationship, then a solution-focused approach can be invaluable.

“I found Guy a strongly supportive supervisor - warm, ethical, knowledgeable and experienced - and really keen to solicit feedback and get it just right”
- David Blowers, therapist and lecturer in psychotherapy.

I have extensive experience as a supervisor and consultant, in health, social care, education, therapy and counselling settings, and with groups and teams as well as individual practitioners.

Being solution-focused, my starting point is what the consultee wants from the consultation and on the strengths and abilities they are bringing to it. I also bring 40 years of experience in social care, health and therapy settings, in addition to my specialist solution-focused skills.

If you’re interested in our working together, please do get in touch. You’ll find my contact details by scrolling to the bottom of the page.

I can provide consultation sessions in person in East London (E8, near Hackney Central) as well as online. I am available on weekdays between 9am and 5pm.

I am fully insured for my consultative and supervisory work.

“Thanks again for your input. I have come away with lots of ideas in terms of facilitating my own team's supervision and consultancy in a more effective way.”

Joint Solution-Focused Practice Group

If you would like to develop your skills as a solution-focused practitioner in the company of others, you might want to come along to one (or more) of the bi-monthly online group sessions I facilitate with Marc Gardiner of the Zebra Collective.

They take place on Zoom on a Friday morning, from 9.30am to 12.30pm, and much learning and fun transpires.

There is more information on Zebra’s website, where you can also book your place at the next session.
