Preston solution focused gathering, counting down!

I have just sent a post to the mailing list of UKASFP (the UK Association for Solution Focused Practice – if you have an interest in solution-focused practice and you’re not a member as yet, then you should definitely consider it – and then join!), about the forthcoming Preston Guild solution focused gathering, which is coming up soon, and I’ve blogged about on here before. Here’s the post…

No let up in the preparations for the Preston Guild SF Gathering!

This is taking place on Monday 3 September, and will be attended by myself, Nick Bohannon, solution-focused modules leader at UCLAN in Preston, Steve Flatt, UKASFP Publicity Officer, based in the Preston suburb of Liverpool, Ruth Dark, middle-distance runner & t-shirt promoter, and assorted others.

We shall be meeting at 1pm on the Preston Flag Market (look out for the Harris Museum and Library, with its magnificent neo-classical facade), at the parched peas seller (check out , also, the info on our Facebook page).

From there we will be processing down one of Preston’s main streets, Friargate, which connects the old flag market with the newer University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). We’ll be gathering at UCLAN from 2pm, to talk with each other about our preferred futures and successful pasts as solution-focused practitioners with a Preston connection.

All welcome! (You’ll find a Preston connection from somewhere – attended one of the legendary early UKASFP conferences held in Preston perhaps?).

I’ll check with Nick the room in the UCLAN campus where we’ll be meeting, in case anyone can make it for 2pm but not 1pm, and post again when I’ve got that info.

Best wishes

Guy
