Being creative with Rob Black!
Had a great time at the annual European Brief Therapy Association (EBTA) conference last week. It was in Torun, Poland, the birthplace of Nicholas Copernicus, a beautiful old city. One of the best EBTA conferences I’ve been to. Really enjoyed working with a number of other people – a plenary on sf practice beyond the borders that I’ll come back to soon, and another workshop with one of the most creative sf practitioners there is – Rob Black – this time on creative solution-focused practice with children and young people.
Time remains limited – talking of beyond the borders, I’m off to Palestine on Sunday to
1) continue building links between UK and Palestinian social workers and 2) attend a narrative therapy conference.
More on that later too. For now, as far as the workshop is concerned, suffice to say that 30 people singing You’ll Never Walk Alone at the top of their voices was a great start…
